Friday 15th September: 10am-12
Friday 3rd November: 10am-12
If you are keen to book into this class but don’t see a date that works for you, you might like to pick up some sewing skills at our weekly Social Sewing sessions.
This is the one for you if you’d like to give sewing a try but don’t want to commit to a longer course. A relaxed 2-hour session where you will learn how to use a sewing machine, including winding the bobbin; threading; adjusting tension; changing needles and sewing a straight seam. Simple calico will be provided for trying out stitches, but you may like to bring a small amount of fabric to make something simple like a pin cushion. These sessions are aimed at complete beginners.
You may bring your own sewing machine if you would like to learn to use it, or you can use one of the machines available here. Please email email@example.com if you would like to borrow a machine, or with any queries.
